Following the amendment of BelWertV in 2022, the new provisions make it possible to apply capitalisation rates abroad which may undercut the minimum capitalisation rates that have to be applied for properties located in Germany.

The vdp has drawn up a methodology paper in which variants are shown as to how a regional market yield can be transposed into a BelWertV-compliant capitalisation rate as part of a three-step approach. The main contents of the vdp paper will be presented to participants during the webinar.  The webinar will also provide an opportunity for questions and professional dialogue following the presentation.

The English-language webinar is primarily aimed at valuers who prepare mortgage lending value appraisals for properties located abroad.
